CONSTRUCTION:

Most of this costume was assembled with pre-made clothes! Nurse scrubs were used for the pants and shirt and a Brown robe was used for the outer layer jacket. The gold lining on the jacket, shoes, and belt is all sealed and painted craft foam. 

The scar makeup for Zuko was achieved by layering Chez's face with elmers glue and thin shredded pieces of tissue paper. When dry, it was painted over with foundation, brown eyeshadows and smudges of red lipstick to make the gnarly burn look convincing.
