Mina Harker

BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA

CONSTRUCTION:

The costume is three pieces. The hoopskirt underneath, the skirt itself (made from upholstery suede), and the jacket/undershirt which is all sewn together. I used two different patterns to draft it with alterations here and there. The lapels, collar, and cuffs were qall made with foam covered in fabric. The hat was also made that way. The embroidered leaves is just painted hot glue. The gloves are thrifted.

Doing the Waterfall pleats on the front half of the bodice was HARD and took a lot of cussing and improv drafting, not sure still how exactly it worked.
