We are currently hiring volunteer positions for our Dancing with Deepspace Fanniversary Ball during Anime Los Angeles Weekend (Friday, January 9th).

 

Dancing with Deepspace is a formal ball with scripted programming, activities and featured Cosplay Actors providing an immersive experience and specialized agenda from 9PM - 12AM. 
Volunteers will work 4 hours on Friday, 8PM - 12AM.

Photobooth

Photobooth Volunteers will help attendees choose poses, communicate with Cosplayers, take pictures on attendees phone or on our event Poloroid and also manage the POS system for sales. They will be attending the Photobooth the entire event, but is expected to be on their feet and speaking often with attendees for the duration of their role. 

Line control

We will have several lines during our event, via the check-in/event entry, photobooth,  merchandise sales, and the dance floor lines. We need volunteers to help inform attendees the correct positions to stand, answer any of their questions, and wave attendees through at the proper pace. This position may change areas throughout the night, but is expected to be on their feet and speaking often with attendees for the duration of their role. 

Check-in/Sales 

Check-in / Sales are responsible for managing our customer RSVPs and redeeming their merchandise or ticket tiers. They will be outside the event doors at all times, organizing tickets and day-of sales. Heavy interaction with our cashless POS system will be required as well as management of customer service.
 

Please note that only 2 volunteers are needed for this position, so consider applying for other roles as it fills up very quickly.

Applicants can expect to receive a response within approximately one week regarding whether they have been selected. In most cases, candidates may be contacted to arrange a phone or online video interview either before or shortly after the deadline.
